The number of operational posts is enormous; they include Food and Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Nights, Kitchen and Conference and Banqueting.

Then there are our support areas; including Administration, Events, Purchasing, Reservations, Revenue, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Maintenance, IT and Human Resources.

Whatever your role, we have the courses, workshops and seminars to help you develop your skills.

Once you've successfully completed your 12 week probationary period, you will receive your Apex FLOW card. This gives you the opportunity to earn 'points' for your hard work; for example you'll receive points if a guest mentions you in their positive feedback and comments. You'll also get points on your birthday. You can then redeem these points for dinner in our restaurants, overnight stays in our hotels, shopping vouchers, or even treat yourself to a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates!

Above and beyond, the extra mile ... whatever you call it, we recognise it! Get nominated by a customer or colleague, or follow our incentive scheme and you could be in-line for awards that range from vouchers to weekend breaks.

As we open new hotels, there are always new chances for transfers, promotions and new jobs. Which is great news for your growing career!

Orientation
The first training our employees receive is our company orientation, where staff learn about Apex and what is expected of them in their new role.

Training on the job
We have training programs running in all our departments, to make sure everyone has the right skills to do their job brilliantly.

Accredited training
Some of our training is supported by vocational qualifications accredited by City and Guilds. These are nationally recognised qualifications, offered in conjunction with local colleges.

Supervisory and management training
We offer specialised training courses that are delivered and designed both internally and by external coordinators that are specifically suited to management roles.

Developing Talent
We are committed to recruiting from within our existing workforce, so we have a Developing Talent program that is aimed at Supervisors and Managers who are seeking career development within Apex Hotels.

We are committed to supporting our local communities and each of our hotels have a nominated charity, which they support. We also work with local residents associations, schools, colleges and other educational institutions.

Apex Hotels have won various awards and accolades for our ongoing campaign to reduce the impact our business has on the environment. Our Environmental Director develops and maintains a system of measurement and improvements, and it is the responsibility of all our staff to adhere to this.
