Built in 1819, and originally named the Waterloo Hotel, this was the first purpose-built large scale hotel in Edinburgh. With a rich history, the landmark building at the east end of Princes Street recently returned to hotel trading after 120 years. The luxurious hotel is located moments from Edinburgh's main gay bars and clubs, Waverley train station and the city’s main shopping district.

To get to Broughton Street from the Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
It should only take you 5 minutes to walk. Simply leave the hotel and walk towards Princes Street. At the end of Waterloo Place turn right down Leith Street, and then turn left onto Broughton Street.
