Built in 1819, and originally named the Waterloo Hotel, this was the first purpose-built large scale hotel in Edinburgh. To get to Broughton Street from the Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
It should only take you 5 minutes to walk. Simply leave the hotel and walk towards Princes Street. At the end of Waterloo Place turn right down Leith Street, and then turn left onto Broughton Street.
