You will be responsible for maximising sales profits and customer satisfaction along with the smooth running of the restaurants and bars with a strong interface into Conference & Banqueting. Responsibilities will include control of operating costs, wages costs and liquor stock. You will be expected to train and support all food and beverage staff to provide the highest level of customer care and consistent service delivery. You will also be required to undertake Duty Manager shifts.QualificationsFormal qualifications are not essential, however evidence of good management training is expected at this level. Management experience within a restaurant and bar operation within a similar size hotel is essential. Catering for large volumes would be advantages as would knowledge of Micros and Quadranet software systems. A Food Hygiene Certificate and Bar License would also be advantages.SkillsThe successful candidate will have the initiative and drive to take the restaurants and bars forward, ensuring that the highest level of customer care is delivered while maximising revenue at all times. With attention to detail, you will be a creative and innovative manager with the ability to build and develop a committed team. You will also have a good understanding of managing a volume operation and pride yourself on creating an exceptional dining and bar experience for our guests.
