Edinburgh - (Apex International Hotel)
You will assist the Guest Services Manager in ensuring that the team delivers an effective and enjoyable experience to all guests. You will also assist in managing the efficient operation of reception, controlling the allocation of guest bedrooms and ensuring all staff are aware of the day's availability, special events and functions. You will check guests in and out, respond to guest queries and assist with luggage, as well as supporting the Guest Services Team enabling them to meet all guest requirements effectively.
Customer Service experience is essential as is hotel reception experience. Previous experience of working with Opera software and previous experience at supervisory level is beneficial.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team leader, be well organised and be an excellent communicator. You will be able to demonstrate a customer focused attitude and have a flexible approach towards your duties and responsibilities. You will have the ability to contribute to your team and lead them in the absence of the Manager. As a point of contact for our guests you will be well presented and have a can do attitude.
Full time, 40hours, 5 days from 7, shifts
