Edinburgh - (Apex City Hotel)
Reporting to the General Manager, the key responsibility will be to manage the efficient operation of the busy and lively Reception function at the Apex City Hotel. You will control the allocation of guest bedrooms, ensure guest satisfaction at all times and analyse guest feedback to enhance the guest’s experience. You will also under take Duty Management shifts, ensure all guest requirements are dealt with effectively and to the highest standards, support and train the front office team and maximise room sales and occupancy where ever possible.
Formal qualifications are not essential although some form of management training is expected at this level.
The ideal candidate will have reception management experience in a 4 or 5 star Hotel and be able to show evidence of leading, training and supporting the team. You will have a passion for customer care, be proactive and show initiative. Strong organisation and communication skills are essential. You will be an innovative manager with the ability to build and develop a committed Guest Services team.
