Edinburgh (Apex Waterloo Place Hotel)
The main responsibility for a Guest Services Agent is to ensure the Guest Check in/out procedure is seamless and accurate. You are also responsible for providing accurate information to Guests regarding luggage handling and storage, local attractions, car parking facilities, conference and bedroom information as well as having an excellent knowledge of all Hotel facilities and services. You will also resolve any customer enquiries and upsell the Hotels services and amenities.
Previous experience in a similar customer service role is desired and some knowledge of Opera software would also be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be given.
The successful candidates will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, show initiative and be a strong team player. You will also demonstrate good time keeping and have high standards of appearance.
40 hours per week, 5 days from 7. Fixed term until 31.03.14
