Apex Hotels in London participate in World's Biggest Coffee Morning
On Friday 28 September Macmillan Cancer Support held their largest event of the year - The World's Biggest Coffee Morning. The purpose of the event was to raise funds to help people living with cancer and Apex Hotels sure did their bit to get involved.
All three London Apex Hotels hosted coffee mornings and encouraged locals to come along with friends, family and colleagues to show their support and join in the fun.
The chefs and their teams mastered up scrumptious cakes from scratch, naughtily nice cup cakes that were to die for and pastries fluffy enough to make the French proud. Luckily for the passing by commuters there were take away options too, ensuring no one missed out.
Visitors to the coffee morning were asked to make a contribution whilst we had a number of staff (all wearing Macmillan green T-shirts) hit the pavements to drive more donations. Through the hard efforts of the Apex Hotels' staff and the generosity of Londoners, we are proud to announce through the Macmillan coffee morning events we managed to raise £635.00.
