How to find us
The Apex City Hotel is centrally located, right in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town. It is situated in the Grassmarket area of the city, which is well sign posted and easy to find.
Plane
If driving from Edinburgh Airport follow the city centre signs for approximately 30 minutes.
As you reach Princes Street (Edinburgh's main shopping street),turn right onto Lothian Road and then first left onto King's Stables Road. This road winds around the foot of the Castle and leads to the Grassmarket, where you'll find the Apex City Hotel.
Alternatively you can take a taxi from the airport, or catch the number 100 bus straight to the centre of town.
Train
Waverley Station is just a 10 minute walk from Apex City Hotel. This takes you to the south of the station.However, most of our guests prefer to take the five minute taxi journey instead of walking - the approach can be quite hilly in parts..
Car
If you are driving into Edinburgh, the simplest way to find us is to follow signs for Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping street. You will immediately see the Castle and the Grassmarket is located directly behind it.
Head for the west end of Princes Street, and then turn on to Lothian Road. Then take the first left onto King's Stables Road. This road winds around the foot of Edinburgh Castle and leads straight onto the Grassmarket - where you'll find Apex City Hotel.
Once you're here, Edinburgh is best enjoyed on foot and by public transport.
