A view of the whisky collection at the Scotch Whisky Experience

From humble beginnings of six lone bottles of Single Malt Whisky gifted by a Scottish business associate Claive's passion for collecting Scotch was ignited. For over 30 years Claive painstakingly amassed a collection with each bottle being individual and unique; he collected everything he could find from novelty decanters, to standard bottlings and valuable one-off limited editions creating a snapshot of 35 years of the Scotch Whisky Industry. Claive always hoped to return his collection to its birthplace and find a means of many people being able to enjoy the fruits of his life's passion. In 2009 he came to an arrangement with the distillers company Diageo and the collection was meticulously wrapped by fine art specialists and shipped over from his home in Sao Paulo, Brazil to Edinburgh. Here it is viewed by many thousands of visitors to The Scotch Whisky Experience each year.
