London is the place to be this New Years Eve. Celebrate an amazing Olympic year for London and watch the Mayor's fireworks display, set to finish off a year like no other. Bring in 2013 with a bang and watch the world renowned display take place on the doorstep of our Apex Temple Court Hotel, also close by to the other two London properties.

The Mayor's spectacular event is free to attend and after winning previous New Years Eve awards, the 2013 show is set to be even bigger with dramatic pyrotechnics that will leave crowds in awe.

Recently Boris Johnson set the scene for the incredible display. "Our New Year's Eve fireworks will cap a triumphant year for London. As we welcomed the world to the magnificent celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the glorious success of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, London was at its very best."

A live DJ set will get the party started from 10pm. Following on from the countdown, as the famous Big Ben clock strikes 12 the UK's biggest firework show will begin. As the fireworks comes to a close welcome in the new 2013 year with friends, family and strangers alike for a united sing along of Auld Lang Syne.

There are a number of official designated viewing areas including the Victoria Embankment viewing platform, just a stone's throw from the Apex Temple Court Hotel. Bear in mind that once the official viewing areas reach their full capacity, closures will be put in place restricting pedestrian access to these areas. We would recommend getting to the viewing platform before 8.00pm to avoid disappoint.

Make the night extra special and enjoy an early New Years Eve dinner at one of our London Restaurants and prepare to see off an amazing year.
