How to get here...
'Centrally located' doesn't quite do us justice; we really are in the heart the historic Old Town, incredibly near to Edinburgh Castle. And our Grassmarket location means we're incredibly easy to find.
Plane
From Edinburgh Airport just follow the city centre signs.
Don't make any turns until you reach Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping street. The shops are on your left; Edinburgh Castle is on your right.
As you reach Princes Street, turn right onto Lothian Road and then first left onto King's Stables Road. Follow this road as it winds its way around the foot of the Castle.
After around 400 metres you will join the Grassmarket; we're just a minute or two down the street - on your right hand side.
Train
Waverley Station is just a 10 minute walk from the Apex International Hotel. However, most of our guests prefer to take the five minute taxi journey instead of walking - the approach can be quite hilly in parts.
Car
If you are driving into Edinburgh, the simplest way to get to the Apex International Hotel is to head for Princes Street, Edinburgh's main street. You will immediately see the Castle and the Grassmarket is located directly behind it.
Head for the west end of Princes Street, until the main junction with Lothian Road. Head up Lothian Road, then take the first left onto King's Stables Road.
This road traces around the foot of Edinburgh Castle, then leads straight onto the Grassmarket - where you'll find Apex International Hotel.
