Ingrid and I were both very happy that we chose the Apex Hotel on Waterloo Place for our wedding reception. This is largely because Emma Miller was the events planner at the hotel – she did a truly fantastic job. She never tired of our endless questions and always responded with helpful answers and solutions. Emma was very flexible about all aspects of the event and helped us to put together exactly the wedding reception we wanted. Andy Hutton was in charge on the day of the wedding and he also did a wonderful job in making sure everything ran smoothly and that we thoroughly enjoyed the day. The building itself was stunning and provided endless photo opportunities. The food was both delicious and well-coordinated around the many speeches we had at the reception. The service was also excellent throughout. So many of our guests remarked that it was the best wedding they'd ever been to! So a huge thanks from Ingrid and myself, or "tusen takk" as they say in Norway. You all helped to make the day the best one of our lives. James McKay and Ingrid Kjøpstad

By far, the best day of our lives! All the guests throughly enjoyed themselves too. Ewen and all the staff were outstanding on the day, please pass on our thanks. A special THANK YOU to Liam and all the staff at Apex Waterloo Place for working so hard to make our day so perfect and enjoyable. Liam really listened to every request we made, no matter how small, and worked so hard on the day along with Niall to ensure a smooth and beautiful wedding day. The food and drink was excellent and the hotel looked wonderful. We had a superb day and so too did our guests who are still talking about the hotel. People were so impressed with the attentiveness of the staff and the service and food they received, they vowed to return again (despite the plane journeys it would take to get them there!). Dear Alistair, I want to pass my sincere thanks and appreciation on to your staff. Susan was amazing on the day and ensured every single detail was executed perfectly, we really cannot thank her enough. Sarah Jayne was a great help in the organisation of the day and it was nice to see her there on the day. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the Chef, who prepared a delicious Wedding Breakfast and Evening Buffet. The food is always a main part of any wedding and I can honestly say that the chef did an exceptional job.

Hi Alan ... Where do I start in how fab the Apex was for my wedding?!!! Just SUPERB!!!!! Raquel was excellent in her planning, the food was amazing, the hotel looked wonderful, the staff on the day were excellent and as for Susan - that woman is just remarkable! I don't know how she does it! - all our guests are still talking about the food in particular! ... Best, Lisa x
