Afternoon Tea & treats
The British have been drinking tea since the 1600s, and afternoon tea became popular during the 19th century. It's said that Anna Maria Stanhope, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, complained of a sinking feeling in the afternoons, and she decided to take tea and a light snack to remedy the problem. She started to invite her friends to the teas, and they were so impressed that they began to hold their own. It soon became a very fashionable way to spend the afternoon!
Choose our traditional afternoon tea from £16.95 per person which is served with Suki Whole Leaf teas, we also have a kids option available for £9.50.
