Description
Designed by Victorian architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, St Paul's Cathedral, Dundee, is a beautiful building and its spire can be seen across the city. St Paul's is the mother church of the Diocese of Brechin in the Scottish Episcopal Church, the Scottish province of the world-wide Anglican Communion and is the seat of the Bishop of Brechin.
All are welcome to the cathedral, whether they're looking for a spiritual home or if they simply wish to enjoy the building and its atmosphere.
The cathedral sits on the Castle of Rock of Dundee which means all entrances are reached via steps. While improvements are being made, there is a mechanical stair climber staffed by trained operators.
