Day one

Morning

If you're travelling to Glasgow by plane, Glasgow International Airport is a short bus journey from the city. Just hop on one of the Glasgow Airport Express buses that come along every 10 minutes and it'll take you to Hope Street, which is just a 5 minute walk from our Glasgow hotel.

Once you’ve settled in, spend the morning exploring the area. We recommend the Gallery of Modern Art and The Lighthouse, both just a short walk from the hotel and the reception team can point you in the right direction.

Afternoon

Indulge in a spot of lunch in one of Glasgow's most stylish restaurants; The Ivy. Situated on Buchanan Street, this contemporary bar & restaurant is one of the best places to visit for a luxury bite in Glasgow. The Ivy serves up a variety of delicious dishes and cocktails in stunning surroundings. Formerly a bank, the traditional features of the listed building are complemented by The Ivy's signature interiors and ultra-chic style.

Hop on the subway at Buchanan Street and take a trip to the city's bustling West End. Here, you can walk off lunch with a stroll around Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and the picturesque University of Glasgow.

Evening

Pop into The Lounge for exciting cocktails before catching the train from Glasgow Central Station to the Exhibition Centre for a show at The SSE Hydro or enjoy lively entertainment at the intimate King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, renowned for being 'the best small gig venue'.

Day two

Morning

Wake up feeling refreshed from a good night’s sleep at Apex City of Glasgow Hotel and fuel up for the day with an irresistible breakfast in The Lounge.

Take a short stroll along Bath Street to Buchanan Galleries and browse the variety of shops that line Buchanan Street before exploring the picturesque Royal Exchange Square. From House of Fraser to Topshop to Apple, there’s something for everyone in this endless shopping heaven.

Afternoon

Spend the afternoon working your way down Buchanan Street and don’t forget the maze of boutique stores on each side street.

You’ll be hungry after a long day of shopping so treat yourself to lunch in Chaophraya. Chaophraya offers the ultimate Thai fine dining experience in one of the city’s most iconic buildings located on Buchanan Street. They serve up a delicious afternoon tea if you fancy something lighter or offer a wide range of delicious Thai curries if you're in the mood for something heartier.

Evening

If you’re still hungry, there are several great restaurants dotted around Bath Street, including Viva Brazil and The Slug and Lettuce. Afterwards, Blue Dog cocktail bar is a great start to your night. Live Jazz music ensures this cosy bar is packed with character. Why not try a cocktail masterclass? Or if you prefer to have your drink mixed for you, their expert bartenders will be happy to shake you up a storm.

We hope you'll join us for a dynamic city break in Glasgow soon!
