Can you tell us about your role at Apex Hotels?
“I’m one of the friendly faces that greets you on arrival and departure. I’m also here to help answer any queries you may have before and during your stay to ensure you have a relaxing and safe stay with us.”
How has your role changed following COVID-19?
“Our customer service remains the same, we always want to ensure you’ll receive a Warmer Welcome when staying with us. We have however, enhanced the thorough cleaning and sanitizing we do regularly, and between each guest upon check in and departure to make both guests and our staff feel safe whilst at Apex Hotels. The enhanced cleaning our team do here makes me feel safe coming into work every day.”
What do you enjoy most about your job?
“That every day is different. I get to meet so many new and wonderful people each with their own special stories to tell. I especially love it when I can help guests create special memories when they stay with us that they’ll be able to treasure.”
What are your top recommendations for people to see and do in the city?
“Hmmm, it’s a tough one, I can’t decide if I love Verdant Works or McManus Galleries more. A walk up to the top of the Law Hill is well worth the climb to see the incredible views all around Dundee too.”
What’s your favourite dish on the Quayside Bar & Grill menu?
"Our rocky road cheesecake of course, it’s my absolute favourite. It’s like two heavenly desserts in one."
