The launch of the hotel back in 2017 was a milestone as it became the only of our hotels to open outside of Scotland and London and it’s the only of our buildings that we’ve built from scratch. Locals and tourists alike witnessed the transformation from former job centre to the stunning hotel we see today
Being our youngest, doesn’t make it our smallest as Apex City of Bath has the largest number of bedrooms in all our hotels – a whopping 177 of them. Located just moments from the famous Roman Baths along with the historic Royal Victoria Park, the setting couldn’t be better.

A History-Lover’s Dream
Bath is one of those cities that doesn’t look quite real – it’s too pretty! Full of beautiful Georgian architecture and traditional heritage, every corner will have a story to tell.
The city also has a thriving festival scene and has even been named as one the country’s UNESCO World Heritage cities!
And of course, you can’t visit Bath without finding out how the city got its name. The Roman Baths is one of the finest historic sites in Northern Europe and was once the site of the great religious spas of the ancient world. In Roman Britain, the site was used to worship the goddess Sulis Minerva and bathe in the waters of the natural thermal springs, which still flow today.
Going Green
At Apex City of Bath, we operate a Green Committee that was set up to establish sustainable initiatives within the hotel. One of the most exciting projects is something that guests won’t even know about, and that’s our Biodiversity Green Roof project.
The project improves the already green roof of the hotel and is an investigation into the environmental factors that influence rural and urban green roof spaces and the resulting impacts upon biodiversity.
The hotel is committed to finding new sustainable ways of working and the roof project has created opportunities for us to explore beehives on in the roof space and also assist with Green Programmes in the city.

For the past five years, Apex City of Bath has given hundreds of happy couples an experience to remember.
In our Lansdown Suite, you can bring your lavish celebration to life and host up to 250 guests for dinner and 400 for a reception.
Or you can choose to say ‘I do’ in our beautiful light-filled Atrium which can host up to 150 guests. The dance floor is always ready at Apex!
